Samsung TL225/ST550 Dual View Digital Camera Review

For someone who loves to click himself/herself and make self portraits, this camera is for you. And same holds true for all those countless people on twitter and facebook who want to click pictures of themselves with ease, without asking someone to click for them. And what makes that possible? This dual screen camera from Samsung makes it possible. This camera from Samsung (TL225/ST550) has two screens, one at the front next to the camera lens and one at the rear. The front screen is 1.5 inch in size and the rear one is 3.5 inches. The rear one fills the whole space and the back is sans any buttons. No buttons!! Yes that’s true. All the navigation part is handled by the rear screen which is a touch screen so no need for the buttons which makes navigation a breeze. As far as the looks of the camera is concerned, it’s a stunner with a smooth rounded body. A red color strip runs down its side which adds a dash of color to the otherwise all black shade.

Performance

An excellent performer, it excelled in every respect of our test, be it clicking self portraits using front screen or using the rear touchscreen which is quite intuitive to use. Images were crisp and colors were reproduced very well. Battery life is kind of ok as it gave 100 shots on a single charge.
