Netbook Navigator Nav 9 Slate PC Review
At $1200 for the base model, it was priced at double the Apple’s entry level iPad. So what made the mobile internet device so pricey? The ability to multi task which sadly the Apple iPad was not able to do.
I know you would be wondering why I am talking in the past tense in the sentence above. It’s just because after Apple made the pricing of the iPad public ($499-$839), the price of the Navigator Nav 9 came crashing down like a pack of cards. So now the Netbook Navigator Nav 9 price stands at $799 for the base 16 GB model and $1399 for the 128 GB model.
Ah … now that is like comparing Apples to oranges !!! Companies think that their product is superior to the ones made by Apple and sometimes they are, which is visible from their spec sheet. But still an Apple is an Apple. Anything that hits the market gets compared to the Apple’s similar product instantly. In this case it is the table PC vs Apple’s iPad. Now that breeds healthy competition in the market and is a boon for the customer as the prices get trimmed so as to reach the same price margin as Apple.
So now here’s looking at what you will get for $799:
